![]() His friend is a reporter trying to bust a crime group, but she’s been made and doesn’t realize it. Paragons can talk to a man called Horinth. Now, you basically have to do a few cool things to gain Morinth’s attention. Apparently Morinth has been telling a few people that they are her favorite band. Move inside and talk to the man by the entrance. I’m walking you through it though, so no worries. Once inside, Samara will give you a briefing again. You should know the name from looking at Nef’s stuff. Talk to the door guard and tell him that Jarutt sent you. You need to go to the marketplace area, walk past the stalls, and look for an access point up a ramp marked as the VIP entrance. Note that this is not actually connected to the bar, because Omega has a really weird layout. We need to go to the VIP section of Afterlife. This should give you the information that you need. Then listen to the three journal entries. Go into the room and look at the statue and the note. Use the interrupt to comfort her if you want more paragon points. You should be able to gain assess with any option, although it obviously has renegade or paragon effects. Ask about her daughter, Nef, to confirm that it was Morinth. You can then go into a newly opened apartment and talk to the grieving mother, Diana. ![]() Go to the door and turn right at the mad prophet. We are basically going back to the slums, so just retrace the path. Leave the club through the main entrance and take a left. The killer still goes by the name Morinth, so we’ve found her. She’ll point you to a recent death in the apartments that she believes was the most recent murder. She’ll explain that she thought there was something weird going on in Omega. To start this off, you need to go into Afterlife and talk to Aria. Paragons can possibly benefit from having a full bar too, but I doubt that they will want to take advantage of it. If you have enough renegade points, you can actually recruit the Ardat-Yakshi. Also, if you’re a renegade character then you should probably wait until you have a nearly full renegade bar. You’ll need to land on Omega and have Samara in your party to start the mission. She is toast before she can make it off world.Samara’s loyalty mission is a pretty quick mission and it doesn’t involve any actual combat. Unfortunately for her, Thane is an amazingly good assassin that took out Nassana Dantius without so much as breaking a sweat. ![]() "Plop them down on a planet".Morinth would likely dominate any nearby populace into cult following and prepare to cat and mouse trap Thane while planning to escape the planet. Morinth really has nothing in ME2 that could compete with Thane in the arena until his defenses are down and then he would just be completely hosed, but I don't think she would get that far. Warp will bring down Morinth's barrier, throw to cause a biotic detonation and then while she is slo-mo ragdolling through the air, he just puts a single shredder ammo sniper rifle shot straight through her evil brain housing group. Thane is pretty well kitted out to deal with a pure biotic. ![]() In the Armax Arsenal Arena.Thane has ~250 health, ~375 barrier, Throw, Warp, & Shredder Ammo.Morinth has ~200 health, ~325 barrier, Throw, Pull, & Dominate. But, if Thane had a contract to hunt her down and managed to have some sort of warm trail to follow, Thane would probably win. In a straight lore fight, I don't see how Thane could win because Morinth should have a full suite of Biotic abilities that are not represented in her ME2 kit.
